BRAZILIAN ZOUK DANCE COUNCIL JACK & JILL COMPETITION

BZDC J&J at ZOUK HEAT

Zouk Heat hosts an official Brazilian Zouk Dance Council (BZDC) Jack & Jill (J&J) each year with the following competition divisions:

Novice
Intermediate
Advanced
All-Star

WHAT IS A JACK & JILL COMPETITION?

A J&J is a dance competition in which competitors enter as individuals & are randomly assigned partners. The BZDC Zouk Jack and Jill competition is designed to highlight skills in social Brazilian Zouk dancing and showcase competitors’ ability to dance well with a variety of partners to unknown music selections.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

All Jack & Jill competitors must have purchased either a FULL PASS or PERFORMER’S PASS to the current year Zouk Heat festival in order to participate in the competition. No other pass holders will be eligible. The J&J entry must be purchased in addition to the pass as it's not included with the festival pass.

bzdc rule update: YOU CAN COMPETE IN 2 CATEGORIES!

BONUS: If you're competing in 2 categories, you get a -$10.00 discount on your 2nd entry (can only be used by 1 individual & may not be split/shared between 2 ppl).

You must sign up for both competition entries at the same time for the discount to apply. The discount is already built into the purchase process in Dance Place. NO CODE NEEDED!
